Print hunt Clue # 8

Our 10th birthday Artist Trading Print Project is starting to wind down. Click here to read more about the project - otherwise see below for the next clue.

Clue #8

The passcode to unlock the shiny version of Nienke Van Wijk’s signed edition card consists of three words:

A combination of Collectors Codes found on all versions of Little Fish Design’s card #10, Violet Von Riot’s card #09, and the shiny version of Miriam Sheppard’s card #S07 (in that order)

(I’ve just realised that card #S07 wrongly numbers the collectors code as collector’s code #4, it’s actually #3. These numbers don’t matter anyway.)

There are no S03’s available in the envelopes, so the only way you can acquire one is solving this clue.

This will be the case for all remaining shinies #S03-S01. These cards are by professional internationally exhibiting artists and may fetch a valuation of £100-£1000 based on those artists’ usual selling prices or valuations.

There are only 4 available copies of this card, signed by the artist.

Hint

Word 1 is a female Christian name beginning with a J

Word 2 is a snack which can be served alongside sweet or savoury accompaniments, traditionally eaten the day before Ash Wednesday.

Word 3 is an activity that artists do.

Once you have figured out the passcode you can use it to obtain card S03 from us at Studio 3 of the Silk Mill. Book an appointment here to claim your prize. There are only limited numbers, available on a first come first served basis. Obtaining card S03 in this way is free.

Here’s a photo of the cards that have the required words you need - I’ve strategically covered the codes in these photos because you need to look at a real life card to get the clue. It is only the shiny version of Miriam Sheppard’s that gives the code, so you will probably need to solve clue 4 to get it unless you were very lucky and found one of the 2 or so hidden in envelopes.

You can buy the envelopes from our webshop, and from participating shops in Frome. Profits go to Black Swan Save Our Swan - you can make your own donation to the campaign here.
