Scanning order form

If you need more than one thing scanned and they fit into different size bands and/ or have different requirements, then it is best to book an appointment, we can discuss everything in person.

Guides & info

  • If you’re ordering more than one print you should be able to use this form to do so. When specifying print sizes and other sizes like borders please format with a comma between each item. Ideally in millimetres, but if in cm or inches then put cm or inch (“ is ok too). If you don’t include this then the discount won’t apply.

    If you’re ordering prints from files you’re supplying then include the filename.

    examples

    untitled1.jpg 297x210mm, untitled2.jpg 210mmx148mm, untitled3.jpg 210×148mm.

    If the size is exactly an A size then you can use the A size instead, eg

    eg. untitled1.jpg A4, untitled2.jpg A5, untitled3.jpg A5.

  • File spec guide for files you are supplying

    Height and width : set to the size you want the print to be (in mm or cm).

    Resolution: 300dpi or more.

    File type: Ideally a tiff but I can accept jpgs.

    Colour mode: RGB (Adobe 98 is best)

    Single layer files only (flatten files before sending)

    If you want a border please make sure it’s already included.

    Add a 1.5mm grey trim-line around the outside of the file (not crop marks). This isn’t counted in the total print size of the image.

    Printable files are usually 20MB - 125MB+ depending on the dimensions of your file. If your file is low-resolution to begin with then I can try upscaling using AI technology (fees apply). But the best thing is to re-scan or capture it at a higher resolution to get the best print result

  • None: £0

    The file is already set up exactly to the file spec guide above.

    We will not check the file before printing. No refunds can be given if the print doesn’t come out as you expect.

    Assessment: £1

    Select if you think you’ve set the files up correctly but want us to check it before we print. If we find there is an issue we’ll refer you to one of the following set-up options and waive the £1 assessment fee, so you only pay the set-up fee (but the 10% promo discount doesn’t apply in this case)

    Set-up: £6 per image (promo and bulk discounts may be applied to reduce this fee).

    Set-up, resizing (to the same aspect ratio, no cropping), checking & altering colour mode and file type, adding a border, trim lines.

    Upscaling: £6 on top of the set-up fee

    Uses AI technology to improve the quality of low resolution/ quality files. Note that this isn’t always effective. If it doesn’t improve the quality of the file then I will waive the fee.

    Edits

    If you need the file to be set-up beyond the basic optimisation level, including background extensions, signature removal, or close colour matching then this is charged at £65ph (charged in 15min increments) This article goes into depth about the options https://www.peradam.co.uk/extra-info/editing

  • Prints

    No proof

    If you select that you don’t need a proof then the order is considered as signed off. Refunds cannot be made, and reprints will be charged at full price.

    Digital proof

    If you select digital proof I will email you a small screen-sized proof that shows how the print will look with borders and/ or cropped or any other requested edit. If you want further edits, let me know.

    Things like colour match cannot be determined via digital proof, so colour issues are not refundable.

    A5 proof or test strip

    Select this option if you want to see how the colour will come out before committing to the print. This will require you either coming to the studio to check the proof, or me posting to you. I will only go ahead with the full size print on your approval of the proof. If you need further edits, let me know.

    A5 proofs are the full image scaled down to fit within an A5 slot.

    Full size proofs

    Full size test strips are the full size of the image, but just a 1-2” strip.

    Full size proof: A full size print charged at the same price as a full size print.

    Scans

    Scans come with a digital proof for basic scans, 1 test strip or mini proof for Optimised scans, or multiple test strips and/ or A5 proofs for Level 2 & 3 edits.

    RUSH T&Cs/ details

    If you need it faster, select from the RUSH turnaround options in the form above. This isn’t a guarantee that I will be able to fulfil the order by your deadline.

    Do not assume the order has been processed until you get a personal confirmation email (not an automated reply).

    Please contact me direct if you want a fast turnaround on a Friday or a Monday, I might be able to help, it’s worth an ask.

    If you don’t receive a confirmation or personal reply to emails requesting a fast turnaround outside of core studio days then the earliest that the job will be fulfilled will be Tuesday.

    Please note that rush jobs may have limitations on paper type or size.

    Please respond to any confirmation or follow up emails I send to you regarding your RUSH order. If you don’t respond I might not be able to complete the order in time.

    RUSH orders are collection-only - if you want them shipped then the turnaround will depend on the courier.

    WEEKEND ORDERS AND COLLECTIONS

    I rarely check my emails on a weekend, so if you need a fast turnaround on the weekend then assume I can’t help.

  • I tend to be in the studio Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday morning, available 10:20am-5pm.

    Even so, I recommend booking an appointment to guarantee I’m in when you come/ to avoid clashes with existing appointments.

    WEEKENDS

    If you want to collect on the weekend, let me know. It may be possible with advance notice and in some cases subject to minimum orders.

    I don’t fulfil any online orders or check my email on the weekend unless a weekend appointment has been arranged in advance. The earliest I will receive weekend orders is Monday. Only SUPER RUSH* orders will be processed and/ or fulfilled on a Monday. Other orders made on a weekend will be processed on Tuesday.

    *note that I’m not offering SUPER RUSH via this form at the moment, if you want a fast turnaround on a Monday or Friday then you need to email me direct.

  • You can get a discount off certain aspects of your order if you use the online forms and enter the correct promo code into the promo code box (the two forms have different codes, see forms for details)

    The discount is based on the time savings the form brings me.

    If details are inputted incorrectly or you need my assistance in filling the form in, the discount will be reduced or voided depending on how much time it takes me to establish the correct information.
